In this Test Tuesday we will be testing artist’s acrylic paints. I am using Master’s Touch Fine Art Studio acrylic paint. In comparison to the craft acrylics that we’ve tested previously, the artist’s acrylics have more concentrated pigment, as well as a longer dry time and glossier finish.

Readi-Board samples

Adams Premium samples
Predictably, all of the Readi-Board, Adam’s premium, and Readi-Grid samples worked very well with the paints. The No Paper sample also served as a good surface for the medium.

No Paper, Readi-Erase, Readi Water Resistant and Readi-Grid samples.
Rubbing the surface of both the Readi-Erase and Readi Water Resistant samples didn’t disturb the paint. The paint could be scratched off with my fingernail from the Water Resistant sample. I wasn’t able to scratch the paint from the surface of the Readi-Erase sample without significant effort.
